Cost of college went up for all students at Creighton University

Tuition and fees rose 3 percent for 2018-19 at Creighton University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Nebraska students paid $39,916 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,166 more than the $38,750 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 1,112 students received grants or scholarships totaling $24.2 million and 593 students took out student loans totaling more than $5.5 million.

Including all undergraduates (8,910), 4,005 students used grants or scholarships totaling $88 million, and 2,092 students took out $16.6 million in federal student loans.
