Ann Ashford's campaign committee refunded $9,800 in May

The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Ann Ashford, Ann Ashford for Congress, refunded $9,800 in May, according to data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

Candidates can refuse or return contributions for a variety of reasons. Contributions may be refunded, for instance, in the event that the candidate does not want to be affiliated with a contributor, a contribution exceeds legal limits, or the candidate withdraws from a race.

Ann Ashford for Congress has refunded $10,050 total since the beginning of the 2020.
