Student Government Elections on March 28 - 30, 2022

The election is the annual process for members of the UNO student body to vote for the student leaders who will represent them for the next year; March 28-30.

From March 28 at 8 A.M. through March 30 at noon, members of the UNO student body may vote for their new President/Regent, Vice President, Chief of Staff, and Student Senators. Students elected during this period will represent students for the next year.

UNO Student Government (SG-UNO) exists to advance the student experience. As the official voice of the student body they represent, empower, and serve students. As such they advocate for student interests to university administration, faculty, staff, the University of Nebraska Board of Regents, and the Omaha community. SG-UNO continually strives to create a welcoming environment and provide impactful contributions to the student body.

How to Vote

Voting will be done online using Presence. Students will be able to vote for the President/Vice President/Chief of Staff ticket, their associated senator, and any applicable referenda.

  • Monday, March 28: Voting begins on Presence at 8 A.M.
  • Tuesday, March 29: Voting is available all day on Presence
  • Wednesday, March 30: Voting ends on Presence at noon
