Roden and Tebrake Claim BIG EAST Player and Pitcher of the Year

On the eave of the BIG EAST Tournament, Creighton Baseball plucked two of the largest individual honors as junior Dylan Tebrake and sophomore Alan Roden were named BIG EAST Pitcher and BIG EAST Co-Player of the Year on Wednesday, May 25.

Five Bluejays were recognized in total as junior Jared Wegner was unanimously chosen to the All-BIG EAST First Team, while juniors Andrew Meggs and Tommy Steier earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors.

After claiming the honor in 2021, Tebrake repeated as the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year this season. Tebrake closed the regular season with an 8-2 record, including a 5-1 mark in BIG EAST action. The Minnesota native posted a 2.58 ERA over 87.1 innings, striking out 108 hitters and allowing just 27 walks. Tebrake limited the opposition to a .207 batting average throughout the season.
