The Omaha Fire Department and the Omaha Professional Fire Fighters Association, IAFF L385 regret to announce the passing of Fire Apparatus Engineer Don Sweazy. FAE Sweazy suffered a tragic event while vacationing with his family.
FAE Sweazy joined the Omaha Fire Department on 4-10-2006, having served our department for 16 years. He was promoted to Fire Apparatus Engineer on 4-30-2013 and has been assigned to E56A since June of 2016.
The Omaha Fire Department and the Omaha Professional Fire Fighters Association, IAFF L385 offer our condolences, thoughts, and prayers to his wife and family at this time.
