Introducing Food Truck Wednesdays

New for the Fall 2022 semester, UNO will be welcoming two food trucks to campus every Wednesday as an additional way to access amazing food options; Aug. 31 - Oct. 19.

Mavericks are about to see a variety of new menu options on campus thanks to a new pilot program launching this fall.

"Food Truck Wednesdays" will bring two food trucks, one permanent and one rotating, to UNO's Dodge Campus each Wednesday, from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M., beginning Wednesday, Aug. 31, and running until Wednesday, Oct. 19, when the effort will be paused ahead of colder temperatures.

Each week the food trucks will be parked just north of the belltower in Lot E except for on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when the food trucks will be parked in Lot M, which is located just south of the Criss Library.

The featured food truck each week is "Greek to Me," a new food truck featuring favorites such as gyros, gyro bowls with rice, and Greek nachos.

The rotating food truck will be updated each week on the Food Services website.

"We are excited to bring this new service to our students, faculty, and staff," said Andrew Sullivan, director of Auxiliary Services. "Food trucks have regularly been a successful offering during special campus events and if this effort goes well it will certainly give us more options to consider into the future."
