Rep. Don Bacon leads House with most bills signed into law

Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District has been recognized by GovTrack for having the highest number of bills signed into law among members of the House of Representatives during the 118th Congress. Between January 3, 2023, and January 3, 2025, nine bills introduced by Rep. Bacon received presidential approval.

Reflecting on his achievement, Rep. Bacon stated, “Since coming to Congress in 2016, I have embraced cooperation and creativity to make life better for the people of Nebraska, from protection for healthcare workers to national defense issues.” He emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving legislative success: “The process may be slow, but I believe when we work together, we can deliver results for the American people.”

In addition to his own accomplishments, Rep. Bacon acknowledged his colleague: “I’d also like to congratulate Rep. Neguse for being first in the 117th Congress and second in the 118th Congress, as I know he and his team work hard.” Looking ahead to future sessions of Congress, he expressed a commitment to maintaining progress: “I am determined to keep up the momentum in the 119th Congress and continue working to address the problems Americans face.”
