Head men's soccer coach Donovan Dowling announced the 2022 slate Wednesday afternoon. The Mavericks will play 11 matches on their home turf.
First on the schedule are a pair of exhibition matches. Omaha will host Central Arkansas on Aug. 15 before heading to Saint Louis on Aug. 20.
The regular season kicks off on Aug. 25 vs. Rutgers at Caniglia Field. It also opens a six-match home stand for the Mavericks.
Omaha will play Oakland (Aug. 28), San Diego State (Sept. 2), Drake (Sept. 6), Bradley (Sept. 9) and Creighton (Sept. 14) in that stretch.
The Mavericks will play at UTRGV on Sept. 17 to wrap-up non-conference action.
Summit League play begins at Western Illinois on Sept. 24. The Mavericks then return home to take on league rival Denver on Oct. 1. Home conference play will also feature matches vs. St. Thomas (Oct. 15), Lindenwood (Oct. 26) and Eastern Illinois (Nov. 5).
Omaha hits the road on Oct. 8 to play newly added member Southern Indiana. The Mavericks will also play at Oral Roberts (Oct. 22) and Kansas City (Oct. 29).
The 2022 Summit League Tournament will be held in Denver this season after the Pioneers clinched the 2021 regular season title. Semifinals will kick off on Nov. 10 with the championship match on Nov. 12.
