The 2022 Charter Study Convention has adjourned, sending 24 Charter amendments to the City Council

The 2022 Charter Study Convention has adjourned, sending 24 Charter amendments to the City Council to consider.  Thank you to the members Rev. Scott Barker, Janet Bonet, John Fox, Kathleen Kauth, Mike Kennedy, Paul Kratz, Negil McPherson, Jr., Maxwell Morgan, Tim Pendrell, Julia Plucker, Andrew Prystai, Angie Quinn, DeJuan Reddick, Armando Salgado and Jorge Sotolongo. I am grateful to each of you for a thorough review and thoughtful debate of changes to our Charter that prepare our city for the future.   Most of the amendments passed by a unanimous vote, so I hope the City Council carefully considers the opinions of these citizens and approves all of the recommendations for a public vote.
